Learning Behaviours

 Cottesmore Learning Behaviours

The promotion of our Cottesmore learning behaviours is an integral part of teaching and learning at our school.

We devised 6 key skills which we feel are essential for successful learning and actively teach and promote these within our school.

We believe that successful learners are: resilient, resourceful, organised, inquisitive, reflective and collaborative.

Our 6 learning behaviours are displayed in every classroom and referred to as par to our daily teaching.  Within the school environment you will see colourful hands which help our children to learn these key skills and ensure they are promoted and understood by everyone.   Children are encouraged to understand, demonstrate and model these learning behaviours and are rewarded for doing so.
